Screwfix are doing KILLER Deals on Teng Tools Torque Wrenches at the mo (Teng gear is Top Notch!)

    I've got the halfords 8-60Nm and 60-300Nm.

Can't fault them and covered by lifetime warranty.

Find someone with a trade card and you should be able to get them for much cheaper as they seem to have put the prices up recently.

Torque wrenches are only as good as the person using it and not how good the tool is, and really any version from the good old humble spring variety will suffice given the wide range that manufacturers give in torqueing up given values of various bolts. When I was building engines values were given for varying temperatures of the bolts and what greases and lubricants used. Arp bolts give several different values for bolts with and without their special assembly lubes. So unless you are building a Hart 420R to spec then you should consider a wrench that fits your budget and the bolts that you are tightening up, it's not like you are using one time stretch bolts made from Ti alloy costing £45 a throw!!!

This does 5.5nm - 145nm rear nut on blade is around 113nm and front 78nm caliper bolts 45nm 103nm steering stem but so does the lot . I p/x my old torque wrench this was 299.99 they gave me £150 for my old one so good deal I thought . Only reason I upgraded the click wasn't loud enough in a crowded paddock this vibrates and a loud beep .

It is a bit overkill but I don't just use it on my bike and it's gotta match my box lol ImageUploadedByTapatalk1381870102.900499.jpg

With that budget you may think of getting two. One for lower and one for higher torque ranges. Perhaps a 1/4'' and a 1/2'' drive. Teng are very good.

Norbar or Halfords professional. I think Norbar make the Halfords one, but i'm not 100% on that.
Teng are OK too and of course snap-on are good, but very expensive. Britool could be a possibility too.
Don't buy a second hand one as you cannot be sure on it's calibration

For me the best bang for buck are the Halfords professional. I use all of their tools and can recommend them very highly (must be the professional range though)

Halfords gear is good quality, you cannot go wrong with their tools in the professional range.

3/8 with a adapter to 1/2 inch will be fine for the bigger rear wheel sprocket I think it's 32mm 22mm front then you ain't got a massive 1/2 wrench lying around

So the HRC is secretly powered by the repsol then wedgie.
See even HRC owners need some repsol in their lives ;)
