Landed myself a srad gsxr 600 for the track today. All standard except for fairings and end can. Hope to be attacking the tracks next year...
Nice one, best thing you will ever do. Try to keep it standard, with the exception of suspension, which is worth every single penny and more!
my intention mate. as soon as i get it down here i will be removing the front end and getting it sorted by a specialist. tweeks on these must be well documented. cant go wrong with a gsxr. i have seen some with the front end off a 750...
Did you get spare wheels with it? That is another well worthy investment. Have the forks re-valved by somebody like K-Tech or Maxton and have a decent rear shock fitted (Maxton, K-Tech, Ohlins, Nitron). Will make a HUGE difference. Apart from that, get out there and have a blast!!!
The only downside is ya road bike gets shoved in the corner of the garage with a cover over it and ignored! Well mine has anyway, bar the recent Yorkshire trip it aint turned a wheel since I bought the ZX10!
