Hi guys So I bought a bike from a pal of mine for a very good price to turn in to a track bike. Iv had a couple of years away from track riding but plan to get in to it again next year. Before I had a couple of years off, I instructed for Easy Track & Focused Events. So if you frequent eBay, you may of come across the bike. It was advertised with no fairings as an unfinished track project. My pal needed money and needed it shifted. We came to an agreement on price we were both comfortable with and the deal was done. I brought the bike home and started stripping it down. Bikes only covered 5,000 miles so everything is actually quite cleanish, however things still needed to be taken off and deep cleaned properly (I'm a proper clean freak). It's nice to check things over and make sure things are as they should be for my own piece of mind at least. Fitted a motoholders HRC subframe and modified the existing under tray to suit. Iv removed the existing coolant overflow bottle ready for an HRC bottle set up. Iv also got a full WSB spec Arrow system from Ten Kate, new in box ready for fitment too. Got a few more bits to purchase and she'll be ready to go for a blast. I'm looking at body work, suspension in the not so distant future. I'll keep the updates frequent
Love a good build thread mate. Keep us posted on it progress. I'm in the middle of building 1 also and love this kind of thing. Also for fairings give A16 a bell they do a cracking deal and the fairings are top notch.
The system should sound good. Should release a few extra ponies too. Iv decided to get the stock suspension re-sprung & re-valved for my weight by K-Tech. I'm gonna be a little rusty when I get back on circuit and can't really warrant spending loads on Ohlins just yet. Once iv reached the end of adjustment form the re-valved stuff, I'll look at aftermarket upgrades then (plus I'm on a strict budget emposed by the wife lol) Fairings are sorted. Iv gone for an ANR HRC kit. Fairings are going straight to a graphics guy I know for a full race livery. Won't go in to what Iv gone for. It's a little different from the norm but IMHO will look superb. I can get a good deal on brand new faring sets and declas. If you are in the line for something similar, feel free to drop me a line. After the fairings, I'll be looking at a Brembo RCS master cylinder, PCV, Diamond rearsets. Maybe some carbon Airtibes. That's basically gonna be it. I'll be throwing the rest of my money at new tyres and track time. I'll post more pics tmw after if fitted a few more bits
Thanks for the comments guys Had some parts deliverd today. HRC overflow bottle kit & bracket. R&G fork protectors. Iv got a few more parts coming tmw, so as soon as they have turned up I'll hopfully get some time in the shed to fit. Hoping to get a set of slicks fitted over the next couple of days too. Changed my mind on the aftermarket shock. Iv ordered a new Ohlins TTXGP. Managed to get a cracking deal so thought I'd make the most of it (6-8 week lead time on delivery though) Iv always thought buying secondhand shocks (and most other stuff) can be a bit of a faulse ecconomy. Their usually totally shagged or in need Of a service, throw in the price of a new spring for your weight and your almost at the price Iv paid for new. Anyway, I'll post more pics once the new bits have found there way on to the bike
like your style.. I did that with an Ohlins shock from fleabay.. didn't work out very cheap in the end!

The guy doing the decals is from North Yorkshire way. He's buying the fairings, applying the decals then shipping then shipping down to me. Was recommend to me from a mate of mine. I can give you his details if you'd like them.
Finally got my HRC bottles and bracket through. After a bit of fiddling about, I managed to get them fitted and all plumbed in Ordered some carbon frame guards from Pro Fiber this weekend so I'll be fitting these during the week, if I get a chance.
Fitted full Arrow SBK system this evening Got offered a set of ex TT Legends fairings from Michael Dunlops 2013 bike. In real nice condition, so bought them rather than instead of going with my original plan. Should be with me before Christmas.
