Is a 954 blade too much for a first track bike?
    Cheers

Nothings too much if you're comfortable on one all ready.

The 'Throttle' is in your hands only! ;)

You'll only go as fast as you twist the throttle, others might say yes

    Happy days
But I thought a 600 might do the job

Assumed you already had a 954 by the way U worded it.

    Start with a 600 then.

    Ebay is your friend

I know someone that's selling a 954, just thought it'd be a bit much for a track day novice. Ride a 1000 myself

The 954 is a great bike and light too I'd go for it

My R6 is fantastic on track but to be honest a 250/400 would 'do the job' if it's smiles that you're after ;)
