Morning.. I did the Niall McKenzie super bike school at knock hill yesterday on my road bike.. fantastic experience with tons of track time. I started the day with fairly standard pressures 34F/36R but Niall came round the bike and changed them both to 30. The racers on here will no doubt go a lot lower than that, but it worked a treat for me :)

Ask the tyre guy on the day. I did that Sunday for my cadwell TD and Denzil had to run 30 front and rear Hot on Dunlop Sportsmarts and found it gave good feedback and wear. I am running Dunlop D211 Gp's and was told to run 24 hot rear and 30 hot front. Found that was about right.

Tyre warmers are great if you have power or a Genny. No genny and no Power meant I did not take my warmers at cadwell so the slower riders over took me for the first lap while I warmed my tyres.

Well worth having tyre warmers. But not essential

Depending on tyres if a hot pressure reading is needed always check tyre pressures when you come in from first session as they will be a lot hotter than on your warmers.
