Is it even possible??? How much would "cheap" be in terms of track days. The reason I ask is that I will either sell it or use it on track only.
RAF Valley £60 for the day or £100 for whole weekend but it is over in Anglesey which is some distance for some people.
£75 - £125 for most of mine Ride there, go round in circles, ride home I try and avoid the mega money ones RAF Valley good bet too (there are prob. loads of costs I've missed) - you need to keep an eye out for Focused Events circuit savers and No-Limits 'just out of season' events
Yeah the day itself isn't too bad, it's the cost of all the gear that you need to go with it, tyre warmers, generator, trailer, WOW's mainly. The day itself is just the cost of how much you're prepared to pay, + fuel & food.
If you want a "Freebie" join the Donnington members club......they do offer a one off day I believe as part of membership.... Soz not free....around £30.00 for track day and roughly £15.00 for membership... http://www.dprac.co.uk/benefits.php
Depends how serious you are. Track near me does a day at £80 so if I include fuel it is probably £100 for a day. The more serious you get, the more expensive it gets.
I have track days and test days. Track days are just to keep me on the bike between races. About 70quid for the day and £20 of fuel. Tyre wear not too bad. Test days are £120 and open pit and usually take about 30-40L of fuel and burn it all. Tyres will be fcuked and bike needs a service after. Good to try different gearings and suspension setups etc. Aint that the truth.
It used to be pretty cheap for me.. A std 600cc roadbike, road tires, and slow pace. Gets you a smile for a 100. Four years later... Race bike & empty savings account .. Arrrghhh addictive stuff, track days
