I will be getting the Bazzaz fitted tio my blade next Spring, run on the dyno, custom maps etc before the start of the season.

So no don't have it yet. I would rather have the all singing Bazzaz and if I choose not to use all the features I can. but can't comment on if they are much good. The Test ride I got on the BMW1000RR on full race mode I did not get to use it on the roads.

test rode the bmw on third setting.... sport i think.... on the road and hated it!! was far too obtrusive for my liking...

sure its a great safety feature... would love to try it on the track as everything is consistent where i think you would get the full benefit.

Have tried it, considering it for my 07, its not as good as the new systems on the new sportsbikes as it monitors rev spikes and doesnt run off wheel speed sensors like the oe systems on the bmw, r1, kwak & aprillia.

If your SERIOUS about it take a look at the nemesis traction control kits, they come with wheels speed sensors and properly adjustable settings, its more expensive than the bazzaz but its a proper set up, so worth it.

One more thing, if you go for the Bazzaz, email Brad @ [email protected] and tell him Craig Robertson sent you his way, im getting a set from him and our very own Rich AR got his from him also.

He is american based, but with the exchange rates he is by far and away cheaper for the full set up, including the quickshifter, dual map switch, tc unit and the base unit, iirc it was around 740 dollars including 50 dollars delivery, or around 470 english pounds, way less than even just the base unit from uk outlets.......

Good information for anyone thinking of TC there Craig, I'm not in the Market for anything like this just yet, not even thinking of modding the bike till I've had at least a season out of her, well apart from the rad guard, K&N filter and tail tidy I've already added, The rest can wait, think I'll just enjoy the Buzz for now. :)

From the people who have used both, everyone recommends the Bazzaz

All my mates use bazzaz on the gixxers but they are fast track riders I wouldn't bother for a road bike personally

Are you talking about FI modules now, as opposed to TC?

if it was purely on a FI module, id have a pc5 over a bazzaz unit, the advantage Bazzaz has over it is the compatability for extras, but the pc5 is a better fuelling module without doubt.

back to backed a bazzaz fi unit to the pc5 when were building the old mans old 09 blade racer, the bazzaz was good but with PC5 you have all the maps etc provided for you, not to mention nearly every dyno has ability to set up a PC, and my dyno guy commented it was easier to set the PC5 up and not too many do the bazzaz as of yet.

Oh, and the autotune set up available on the PC5 is miles better than the autotune module for the bazzaz!

The bazzaz is great as a full package, but for a pure FI module, the PC5 is better.

Some folk argue that th Bazzaz FI module is better because it controls all injectors as standard, but I hear that's a red herring and really makes no difference for most applications.

Ive not heard that, i might have to have a look into it.

I know first hand that the pc5 has always been able t work on the current shape blade as we tried it and had it tested at Frank Wrathalls.

    Why not!
Cant think I could really justify it, but that doesn't normally stop us does it?
