I know this might upset a few BUT has anyone ever towed a trailer with their Blade??? I love the power and thrill of the Blade and so does the Mrs but camping is a no go if I want to take the bike so was thinking of making a small trailer to tow my gear to and from camping. It would be detachable when we get there for so then we got the fun bike to play on. Commence the slagging off.....GO.
Lol I am a fabricator got all drawn up and I was just wondering if anybody else has done this. As for a side car thats just silly lol.
I just put my bike on a trailer. Got no interest in riding 100s of miles on motorways. I carry all my gear in the car and unload the bike off the trailer at the campsite. Sorted !!!
Use one of these myself for the Track Bike, would be ideal for what you require if you go down Megawatt's suggestion. Motorcycle Trailers | Bike Trailers by Phoenix Trailers
Dont go hundresd of miles probs only 50 - 75 miles on camping trip and lots of the rallys are bike only too.
That's what I do and I have the motolug trailer which comes into bits and go into the car boot (Motolug Motorcycle Trailers - Photo Gallery)
I love the idea mate! I personally hate driving a bloody car, so I can see why you'd want to leave the cage behind and take the steed. No idea what it would ride like though
I have a Moto-Lug trailer! It's brilliant as it just folds down and goes in the boot! Well worth a look.
The only bikes I've ever seen towing a trailer are Goldwings and a mate's Hayabusa. I wouldn't have thought a lightweight , road rocket would be suitable for towing. The sideways forces on the towbar when braking could be a problem?
We were going through France last year, cruising at 90 odd this mad bugger on a wing past us pulling a trailer! It was a big'un.
Well gonna find out soon trailer is made and been towed by a car so all ok. So its bite the bullet time really either it works or im gonna end up in a heap of plastic... Stomach churning at the thought of that. My mate gotta trike so might see if he can tow it lol.
