Mate helped develop / build it (mechanic at Triumph HQ) and he rates it - was talking to 2 of their designers at Mallory at the Pie and Mash trackday and they said its good, just a shame the sports bike market has collapsed as it makes little sense to invest their time, effort and money in that area so the 675 R remains the flagship bike but one they are very proud of which stands up well against the class best.

Be interesting to try the 636 ZX6, the 675R and GSXR750 back to back as they 3 are chasing a similar target customer

Good call Al and you can bet there is very little between I think if Suzuki up rated the motor and give the bike a complete face lift and came completely out of the standard Suzuki mould I would bet loads of dudes would consider going down a peg as you would get all the thrills for less dollar.

I know you can only read certain bits in bike mags etc but fast bikes gave it 11/10 first time ever they have done that.

Its a good job i pick mine up on the 1st March lol have added a few extras cant wait, i loved my gsxr 750 just right power for the road IMO, and i do like a screamer r6/cbr etc so should be fun

And don't forget the look of it. It's like a piece of jewellery. Every time I go into Bridge and park next to them my bike looks like Susan Boyle. They had a big launch for it on Thursday night but it was snowing. Surprise!

Giv - how many bikes have you had??

Not heard any reports, but they are awesome bikes... If I was getting a 600 there would be no other option now. Triumph all the way.

New one looks the nuts in the flesh too
