Can anyone recommend a trustworthy service mechanic in Essex (Romford Area) one that actually does the service and doesn't just too up your levels and tells you it's been serviced....yes I've had fingers burnt. Cheers.

Your post is a little worrying, re your fingers being burnt!
Ive always done the servicing myself but new bike is on PCP so I believe it has to be serviced by Honda monkeys.
I was looking to see where closest Honda dealers were so I didn't have to track all the way back down to Doble.
Would love to know who burnt your pinkies so I can cross them off my list?

I think as long as genuine Honda service parts are used anyone can service them ? But I stand to be corrected if this is not the case.

I think EU Law states that as long as it's a VAT Registered Garage and they use Gen or 'Approved' parts then U can go anywhere for Service and Repairs.

This applies across the board to Vans, Cars and Bikes etc

Fair Competition rules or sumat like that.

I had my bike apparently serviced by dealer where I bought it....however after 640 miles oil light came on. When I checked levels it was ridiculously low with no oil leaks...so couldn't have done oil change. Took over s litre of oil. Slap my wrist for not checking it after he serviced it but maybe I'm too trusting in hindsight.
