I think i got the timing right, end of bike season so probably work is a bit lighter at Spraybay, including painting the subframe, all panels £650 which i thought was a bargain considering DM wanted £1050 w/o subframe. I saved myself a few quid by doing all the dismantling myself. As Spraybay paint the Honda Racing bikes thay have templates for the fairings so they dont need the bike to get the lines right.
Theyre also hoping to get John McG to sign it as theyre painting a Triumph for him at the moment which would be a bonus!
Once its all back together ill get some pics on here.
I was at the 2011 TT when the TT Legends team first raced and thought the bike looked stunning! I had an HRC RR7 at the time but was looking t itrade up and told myself then i would get it painted ! I know its a lot of cash but i'm 40 in a few weeks and this is my b'day present from my better half lol!

Spraybay are simply brilliant, makes me chuckle when people go on about sending them to dream machine... Send them to the people that ACTUALLY spray the race bikes themselves!!

Dropped panels off this morning, opted for the new Motul sponsors but the TT edition rather than the endurance, got headlight covers painted so will kind of look like a race fairing where finished, pretty excited to get em back! so far service from Spraybay fantastic, they really know their stuff!!

Anyone know best place to get ventureshield from?

    Hi steveo,
I'm sure you won't be dissapointed, they did my trackbike around 16-17 months ago.
The scheme, I think is lovely and the finish is really nice and considering it's done a few days now, it's held up well but still a good idea to go with the ventureshield.

Here's a couple of pics of mine (if I can manage to post them!)

    Cheers
