I'm thinking 160 BHP is fast but by god this would be interesting if you can hand on http://www.holeshot-racing.co.uk/images/pdfs/turbo-charging/tbikehonfireblade08_11_111226.pdf
Turbos are great for low revving, constant speed engines like big diesels and piston engined aircraft but for a peaky, revvy, bike engine is it a good idea? I don't know. Cue Arthur.
Not really any good for a bike as the turbo lag could surprise you mid corner and spit you off. A super-charger however would be better but naturally aspirated engines suit bikes far better.
things have changed a lot with bike turbos as I talked to Tim Blakemore Tim Blakemore Racing Motorcycle Dyno Tuning who is only 5 mins from me a few times about adding something my to my Speed Triple http://www.timblakemoreracing.co.uk/turbo.html some interesting reading and nice chap
Ive only ever rode one turbo bike a GPZ750 TURBO it was fun but old school, did spool up for ever or so it felt all that time ago... TTS is the answer for the blade, I do know someone with a TTS powered 200bhp R1! Did you know that Kawasaki are one of the few company's that make OEM supercharged engines! Check out this 260BHP jetski motor from Kawasaki! In the pursuit for the BHP battle i.e the ZZR v Bussa etc Kawasaki WILL win, they have made these things for yonks now I dont know much about jetski's but I do know they make one of the most compact superchargers around! NICE! One for Remal
300BHP ZZR powered factory OEM supercharged JetSki motor.......! Same it needs the pacific ocean to keep cool....lol
Some one round the corner from me had an old blade turbo that was bad enough! I dont think i would like to turbo a newer blade
You BASTARD Matt, I keep thinking about doing something stupid with my RRY...I don't need you putting these threads on here too!!!!! I'd honestly love a Forced induction bike.
