Very nice bike mate! Welcome to the site! What kind of front calipers are on the bike? Any chance of a list of mods done?

Nice bike! :) nice wheels.. :) PFM calipers with narowband discs?, what they like? Also what rear caliper bracket you running mate? I've had probs with the Brembo mount in the past now got a CZ, seems ok with the HPK rear.. :)

The bst wheels run a tight right rear offset, other mounts near rub the disc too the bst's defo seem to be offset to the right hence your washers required with that mount.

Thanks for the welcome & nice comments guys. Yes its funny how PFM are so overlooked. Every bit as good as Brembo IMO, & certainly more innovative. Anyways the disc & calipers will cost approx 1500quid, tho the carbon stainless discs are about 400quid a pair(OE calipers used). My bike so far has an Akra evo full syst/BST wheels/Brembo HPK rear caliper/PFM sbk brake kit. Sat in the spare room are Wp sbk forks/yokes & kit rad & cooler from the 08 Tk bikes. Pics will be posted. Oh, a Wp mech st damper must be used with these yokes.

Caught up on some of yr replies. Yep, I had to mod the HPK rear mount, Grr.. Not what you would expect. Err, I bought it with 2k mls, 7.5k now...

You can buy PFM at thestopshop.co.uk check it out and people say my T Drives are new.... oh no they are not!.. :)

Nice forks you have lined up mate!

I'd have PFM all day long but brand names rule the game of bling, no point in pukka brakes that no one knows what the fug they are....lol Thats the sad thing people read Brembo or Ohlins and they think its the best even if its a Brembo caliper off an old scooter...lol Brembo and Ohlins make loads of OEM stuff thats shite imo! As well as the top of the line... Oh well.... you can't win...lol Saying that a lot of race stuff like full spec GP4 RR calipers have no dust seals etc etc so should not be used day to day unless you like stripping calipers once a week, also take Ohlins OEM forks they are only coated (ti Nitride (the gold bit)) at the lower part of the fork not the whole stanchion.. for example and so on... :)

Bang on Arthur, I used to sell pfm & AP to dealers in'95-'00. Was hard wk getting them to try them, but when done so, they flew out the door. There are significant differences in manufacturing process. I have This set up on all 3 of my bikes I love 'em. Every mate who has run a BSS team, runs the wave carbon steel, after comparison. Sam Warren done well on 'em this yr. Not to mention all the top rd race boys who have used them for yrs. I mean, I have a set on my GSXR fitted in '96 from Hizzys BSB ZXR. A lot of pedigree in the brand, just not high profile. As you say, cheap as. Equivalent Brembo set up-3.5k !!
