I have noticed a number of members recommend a larger profile for the rear tyre i.e. use 55 instead of 50.
My questions are 1) Is this wise? .... Insurance implications in case of a big off.
    2) Does it make the handling a lot better ? Is it noticeable?
    3) Will it make knee down easier?

I am about to purchase new tyres in the next couple of weeks.... hence the questions.
    Thanks from the Great Guy.

If you put a search in for the thread "Tyre profile, 50 or 55" started by Sinewave you'll get all the answers you need.

55 series all day long matey, no downsides at all.

Yes Honda ship with a 50 series but other manufacturers such as Kawasaki ship as standard with 55 series so no chance of any insurance problems.

I'm running Pirelli Rosa Corsa's in 55 on my Blade and they're ACE!
