Anyone know any, just priced up with my local, they want £25 to fit two tyres (off the bike) or £40 ride in service which sounds a bit steep to me, anyone know of any in the northwest?

Yeah i'd pay your £25 off the bike tyre change for just the one locally. That's why i bought the equipment to do it myself.

£40 fitting ride in is a good price, how much are you expecting?

will take them an hr to remove wheels, fit tyres and re-fit wheels.£40/hr at a garage is a very good price these days.

I use a local car tyre place; the lad replaces the tyres to loose wheels for £5 each. This is a lad whom I have come to trust; he is very carefull with my bike wheels.

I have to balance them myself but it only takes a few minutes.

My problem is I dont really trust anyone else to work on my bikes & I'm too tight to pay full price for anything....

Speak to Matt at BTS (Bike Tyre Services) in Sale opposite the Ducati dealership -

    BTS - Bike Tyre Services

Tell him referal from Alan with the mega mile blade and he will prob. do you the best deal in the area - He's moved away from the mobile service as with fuel costs and travel time it was not making him enough money. Just watch that he does not over tighten the sprocket nut but that is common at loads of places really.

Really appreciate that thanks Alblade, I'll give him a call tomorrow. I assume he'll do "wheels off" as I'm stripping and servicing the brakes plus deep cleaning the wheels so they'll be off anyway.
