Can someone recommend a good easy to fit use tyre pressure gauge for checking tyre pressures on a bike.. needs to be small and compact - and fit under the rear seat.. I bought a halfords one but its total and utter crap! Thanks
I just bought one of these, its got a release valve. Also a neat feature is that the reading stays on the dial even after removing from the wheel ( reset when you press the release valve) Draper Tyre Pressure Gauge c/w Hose & Air Release 69924 | eBay EDIT - missed the bit about fitting it under your seat! but I also have an old skool one, this will fit in the tool bag
i asked the same thing just the other day fella and there is a few replys on there as said above the draper was one of them if you want a pencil type weldtite is supposed to be pretty good by some of the reviews
I've got a Venhill it's similar to the draper, the hose is braided steel and has a bleed valve for depressurising. It's a good bit of kit but maybe a bit bulky for under the tail unit. I do find it awkward sometimes getting the nozzle to fit the valve squarely and end up losing more air from the tyre that I have to blow the tyre up in the end anyway.
