What would people suggest? I run 34/35 ont he raod when warm. 29/30 on the track and have no idea what to run when having luggage on the rear.

Not heavy, approx 10KG but going to be doing over a 1000 miles in the first 4 days.

    Any idea?

I ran standard 36/42 while I was away with no issues on any of the twisty stuff and a good wear rate.

Just make sure you check them once you get out there because they will change between here and there.

I started out with a plan of checking and adjusting pressures according to roads ie standard for m ways stretches dropped for twists but the reality is there is too much going on to worry too much. I justed lubed the chain each night and got on and rode it every morning. I don't recall the difference but pressures will be higher when you get to sunny 30+ degree countries than there were when you set them in chilly old Blighty.

Have you checked your oil recently ?

My bike was using about 250 mls per 1000 miles which is about the difference between full and no trace on the dip stick.
    I took 1/2 a litre in a coke bottle.
