    Hi all,

I have bought a 2009 track bike, and want to put it on a daytime MOT with road tyres. This is because i want to get used to the bike on the road before taking it to the track in Almeria on 27 April. Can you tell me which tyre sizes i can put on eg 200 or 190 on rear etc. Rims are R17 (which you probably knew). The tyres currently fitted are slicks.

Trying to do this on a budget and hopefully pick up some part worn tyres as we have a route for good quality scrubs. Any advice/guidance/sledging gratefully accepted.

    Thanks all

    Mike

    Hi,

Standard on that model are 190/50/17 rear and 120/70/17 front. I think you can also fit 190/55/17 rear (which is a more common size)

    Cheers,

    Ian
