Right, I've reet upset the Mrs and bought a dedicated Trackbike as circulating my 6 month old Blade around Darley Moor last Friday made me think I might just be pushing me luck long term!

Anyway dropped on a nice 2010 ZX10R already set up as a Track only bike so am now in need of some Tyre Toasters!

I'm liking the look of the digital version of these from Demon Tweeks

However I've noticed these Biketek units seem popular but that maybe just cause they're the cheapest!

I see plenty of both in the paddock at race meets, so they obviously work well. I can personally recommend these: Diamond Tyre Heaters One thing that these do is get up to 95 degrees rather than most others getting up to 80. But, as I say, I see plenty of both of the Moto GP and Bike It ones, so they obviously work well enough.

Sinewave, myself and And7rp2 (Andy) bought some Uber tyrewarmers from Demon Tweeks and they work a treat! Think they did them for about £103.00 posted.
    Nice trackbike dude!

I also heard reports of Biketec catching fire. In fact I think Andy's did before he got the Ubers.

how many times do you think we will say this? shall i post the pictures or will you? ;)

holroyd are good warmers for the money, and they give fantastic after sales if you do have a problem.

personnly,i'd go for elastic sides rather than draw strings, less fussy and easier to use.

CAP-IT are the dogs but not cheap

One trick I have seen with the Holroyd ones is to get a couple of extra Crown Cord Locks for the elasticated draw cords. Once adjusted to size you can just pop them on.

I've got a set of Capit now. Was a lucky eBay bargain that came from John Kirkham.

    What's happening on the 27th?

Am booked in on either the 4th or the 11th at Oulton (Not sure which as there is a group of 4 of us going so someone else is doing the booking via MSV)

    :)
