Crap. They came on my 2013 and have now made a promise to myself that next new bike I buy tyres getting changed before it leaves the dealers. Am now running the Metzeler M7 RR and they are so much better, more grip, better braking and much more confidence. Get your suspension set too, totally transformed my bike.
Prefer michelin's and Pirelli's to Dunlop, have got Diablo Rosso Corsa's at the moment and are a great tyre

Thanks guys that's really helpful. It came with them on and have always run Bridgestones S20 or 016 before that. Might take a butchers at the M7RR's. Thanks chaps
i have just put pilot rod 4's on and must say, i was surprised at how agile the bike feels plus loads of grip so happy days
Awesome bud. I'm still searching at mo gotta say them MR77's look good. I am a knee down wheelie junkie that does absolutely bomb it around. I'm thinking S20
Good shout I've just been reading about them. Awesome review! So a no go on the Dunlop Qualifier 2 Sportmaxx ?
Oh lordy, look, a tyre thread! Tyres are subjective surely. I understand that some people have favourites but it comes down to how you ride. I had Qualifiers on my K5 Gixer 1000 and by some quirk of chance I've bought this CBR and it has come fitted with a new pair too. I don't mind them. Suits my riding style. When they are shot I will have a read in the tyre threads but for now I'm happy.
Yeah of course, it is subjective but given everyone is different I'm curious as to how everyone copes differently on different tyres. My Blade also came fitted with the Dunlop Qualifiers and I am a fast rider I can hoik up the front wheel easily and do bang the sliders om the ground with relative ease and so far they Dunlops haven't let me down. But my confidence has always been with Bridgestone and the Dunlops today after pushing hard through a few twisties got spongey and felt like was riding on a mattress and they went red on the left side edge of the tyre and bright blue on the right side of the tyre. Thanks for your helps guys really appreciate it.
