    Hey guys

Just wandering if anyone is running a 190/55 rear tyre on a 2012 blade?
I know the bike comes with a 50 profile rear tyre, but have heard a 55 is alot easier to lean bike over?

    Hello fella.

I'm not sure about the 2012 model but I've recently fitted a 55 section tyre to my 2004 instead of the standard 50 and it's made a real difference to the way the bike handles. It feels very flickable compared to standard.

I doubt you'll have any struggle flicking your new blade over, they handle great. Congrats on the purchase and perhaps wear that 50 out first and see how you get on. I've never tried the 55 but like you have read how people rate the change.

Yeh i test rode it yesterday and its handles and flicks over so easily and so stable, I have been riding a 2008 Yamaha R1 for the past 10 months and cant believe how great the blade is, feels like a 600cc in terms of size and weight, but the power of a 1000cc, it was a toss up between the blade and the new bigbang R1.
    Ended up going for a change as I have had a 2010 R6 and the 2008 R1.
Cant wait to get the blade and try her out on track.

see the local dealer argued with me the other day that a 55
is too heavy and will slow down the bikes turning ability
