    I hope some of the Authorities take up the opportunity, would be great to have some road racing in the UK.

    Would be great if it was passed buy can't see it happening... The health and safety bods will put a stop to it. To many recent deaths, I think many of the general public would be against it also.

    Sadly can't see it happening. Too many people will object about expense and disruption (see the recent TDF thread), and if people start getting hurt it will be stopped, as happened with power boat racing in Bristol docks.

    That's why I think the Borders of Scotland may let it happen. They have been campaigning for a while for road racing around that area. Including canvassing the residents of the areas of Jedburgh, Hawick and Denholm I hope so anyway.
    Think Stuart Easton has been involved in it as well.
