Couple of ULEZ threads but not seen anything about anyone getting a pre-Euro3 bike tested in order to get an exemption certificate. I have a ‘96 blade but have seen that ‘97 blades are exempt - leads me to believe (hope) mine will also be exempt if I get it tested and get the certificate. Has anyone done this? Test is £175 so obvs only want to go through with it if true / good chance it’ll pass. From my understanding, the ULEZ non-compliant list was basically just done on date of vehicle, rather than actual emissions, so a motorbike should pass.
Ask honda UK for certificate of conformity on the NOX levels. Then email it to ULEZ. Or you can get it tested.
I spoke to Honda - they said my bike was too old (and 1996) for a certificate of conformity, so testing it is. Just wondered if anyone else had got tested and whether it was fine
That's disappointing Ducati have done a coc for early monsters on carbs. I'd try someone else @ honda, got to be worth a go.
I've heard of bikes going straight through, but also of someone welding a catalytic converter to a bandit.
You can get your bike tested, loads of bikes pass the test and even some two strokes. https://www.nationalemissionstestcentre.com/
