I have looked at the old thread for installing a USB charger on the Fireblade. But it is an old thread. I was wondering if anyone had any links to good USB charging kit any tips on where to site it, or even any things not to do. Links would be good. I am planning on running a car Tom-tom (in a tank bag) and charging a phone at the same time. Thanks
I had the optimate usb but found when you were turning the bike off the unit was powering down as it was supposed to but when you started the bike again it would not come back on. You had to disconnect and reconnect it,which was a pain as I had it hidden down side of tank with the lead running up to the bars. I've now bought a switched usb off ebay and run the cables in similar fashion and the switch unit under the back seat.
