    .

Decided to try to use this space for a small 'dashboard'.

    DSC04717.JPG

    So, made a pattern.....

    DSC04718.JPG

Cut it out of 'ali' sheet.....

    DSC04719.JPG

    Sprayed with a 'Rattle Can....

    DSC04720.JPG

Bought one of these from ebay....

    DSC04722.JPG

    Already had one of these.....

    DSC04723.JPG

Used just the one front mirror bolt to hold it 'cos the bottom 'tab' fits and is held behind a bit of the fairing.

Just enough space left for my next addition, a GI Pro gear indicator.

And whilst I was in the mood; Polished and filed all the sharp edges off these pillion f/rest replacement brackets then Satin Black with the old 'Rattle-Can' ;)

    Had a good day, I recon.:p

When I put heated grips on mine I also fitted a LED voltage indicater to keep an eye on voltage/charging levels just in case I was drawing too much power or the regulator was about to go kaput. One would fit nicely in you plate maybe.

    .

Cheers mate. Thanks for the 'tip'. I'm thinking of tidying this one up (It's a 'first off' and not quite a 'fit') and finding some rubber strip for the edges then making a mirror image for the other side so I could fit an LED voltage indicator there.

    Nick.

Is the gear indicator going to fit neatly in some of that too?

Your mission, should you chose to accept it, is to make me a 24L tank so I don't have to keep stopping for fuel. Cheers. I'll pick it up next week.

Come to think of it you can deliver it.
