Using Gilles TCA Chain Adjusters

    Can someone please advise me how to use Gilles TCA Chain Adjusters as I have used them on Saturday but got confused what I was doing more with which way to turn the little screw on both sides, stupid question I know but please bear with me and help where you can.

    Am not sure, perhaps some pics of the adjusters may help?

    Usually you can use a ruler (or verniers) to ensure the gap is the same both sides, then tighten the axle back up.

    This is someone else’s bike but this is odd as mine are both the same way up with the three bolts all at the top and I have been confused which way to turn the tiny Allen key bolt to tighten my chain on both sides

    I've just taken a screenshot of their guide.

    I would turn the allen key clockwise (or anticlockwise) and then just measure this distance I marked in red. Make sure it is the same on both sides.

    It has a ruler/scale across the bottom, just make sure it is even on both sides and you should be done.

    fyi - clockwise 'should' take the wheel back (and make the chain tighter). But just try it and measure.

    Did you use the stickers?
    Wind them both in and then put the stickers o the swing arm set to the same miner in the adjuster scale, you can then set them accurately on both sides.
