Haven't seen one in the flesh yet but so far its not doing anything for me in the looks department. However I do have an MT10 so maybe my eyes don't work all that well :-0
They actually said it was a bit tame and they sort of wanted it to be insane. At £20k it doesn't do a lot for me. If I was after an Italian I'd take the Tuono I think.
Ducati always looks sex, because its made by Italians. But I agree lots of people around with no taste.
I had a look round one at the NEC and thought it looked unfinished. The way the cables routed was terrible. Can get a Triumph Street Triple RS + a Kawasaki Ninja SX for the same price as one of these pretty much.
Another vote for the MT10 but I am biased as I have one, although I did like the Duc when I sat on one at the Nec. Pretty sure I would not swap yam for one though
Yeah, erm, so is the Aprilia. I've always liked the look of Dukes and the sound of the desmos. Having owned 5 Aprilia's over the years I'd never buy one now as my only bike.
Always preferred the look of the standard RR version to the Factory - somehow cleaner and more useful looking with a pillion seat that can handle a pillion or some throw over bags. Nearly bought one of these (in blue at the time). Personally the Ducati is a bit to flash and expensive for riding round as an ordinary street bike - which for me is what a supernaked is for. Not that taken with the looks either to be honest. Anyway its all subjective. But the new Ducati - although very fine - not really on my list
I've been hankering after a tuono for ages...just love the look of them. Only sat on them in the dealers but the position and everything about them is perfect for me....just need to get off my arse and get a test ride. Local dealers is open now with these in...
