I've removed the intake flapper valves, solenoids, resonators, and diaphragms from the air ducts and taped up the holes.

According to the service manual, the vacuum hoses from the solenoids go to a t-piece and then a one way valve. One pipe goes into a box (I think it's a reservoir, in the service manual it's called a Control Vacuum Chamber and it's mounted in front of the headstock), and another hose goes down the left hand side of the frame towards the back of the airbox. I don't know where this goes, I can't find it in the service manual. I guess it goes to the vacuum source?

I am wondering whether I need to block this off or if I can leave it open.

    Anyone?
    Ta.

Been a while since I did it but I think I just went back as far as I could and then just popped a screw in the hose to cap it off. In my picture I sent you the other day the T piece is removed and also another really long hose.
