    Hi.
Does anyone know somewhere sensible we can leave a van near the port at Liverpool? It would Save a long ride and 2 lots of bike petrol. I know the area has a bad rep, so somewhere with cctv / attended!

I don't blame you. I rode up from Devon for the Manx gp and it was hell both ways!! Super hot and grid locked on the way up and rained the whole way home!

I guess you've already got the ferry tickets for the bikes which is why your not taking the van over to the island.

We had a van booked on the ferry, but then won a package with travel and one of those pod things to stay in on the pitlane. After a late night ride up last time with camping gear, it should be luxury!

Take the van over if you can. We did this the last time we went (2015) and it gives you lots of options. Nice weather, ride the bikes. Crap weather, take the van. That's the recipe we're going to use from now on.

Certainly is lucky, as I think it would be about £1250 each! We go out on the Friday before the racing starts and Actually get to be there for the seniors this time as well which should be great! Also get another couple of early morning blasts over the mountain before everyone else wakes up, and an extra evening one too. shame that

Our original van booking is now being used by some friends, so we've still got access to one over there. Best of both worlds!
