veiws on supercorsa SP for road use

    anyone have any reviews for using these on the road?

    Sp are road tyres
    Sc are track tyres.
    Not sure what's the difference apart from being road and track tyres. I have the sp's on my blade

    how do you find them? i currently have Bridgestone S20 on mine 180/55 and cant fault them.

    SP and SC even if they have the same design are completely different in term of carcass and compound.

    The SP , especially the V2 version, is one of the best sporty tire for the road, you can buy without hesitation.

    these shootout are completely wrong .....

    The diablo supercorsa SP have to be confront to racetec RR K3 for metzeler / BT003 for bridgestone and D211 for DUNLOP, not the S20 and even less with the M5 !

    I use SP V2 on road and track, I really like them. Warm up well and loads of grip, I went for a 55 rear
    I dont ride in the wet though so can't comment how good they are when wet

    I just went for a 20 mile blast on a brand new set, 5 miles straight and then 7.5 each way on a blinding twisty road.

    I've only been on the fireblade three times since I have owned it and the confidence I got from the grip was superb and that's only in a 20 minute blast.

    I can't compare to any other tyres only ever used the sc's on my r6 and now the sp on the blade.

    When I got back and took the pic they where super sticky . Only thing I have notice is slight ripping on left hand side but only very slight and that might be suspension as its stock set up and pretty horrible ride or the fact I blasted a new tyre. I Got carried away as I still haven't had a proper session on it in 6 weeks of owning it!!

    Black they arnt super corsa sp are they? Tread look completely different. And abused lol!! Was that on track?

    Believe it or not it was not on a track. I thought they were supercorsas but it was a mates bike not mine so could be wrong. He absolutely shreds tyres in his S1000rr.

    Cannot fault them in terms of grip. However, I've managed to go through two fronts to one rear, in around 3500miles. And the front went in Austria, and cost a cool €240 to replace. Moderate-hard road riding and a bunch of sighting laps at Aragon.
    Don't know what they're like in the wet, and don't want to find out.
