The Velcro on my rst leather trousers has virtually given up the ghost and is also coming unstitched. So...I've had a Professor Pat Pending moment and rather than mess around dropping at repair place I thought maybe I could get some Velcro and stick it on with superglue! Has anyone tried this before I b#gger them up :D

Sounds like a plan but not too sure about superglue on your leathers. Would be an expensive cheap fix if you knacker up your leathers. Try it out on the turn up or somewhere out of sight first .

It'll stick to the leather (that's what superglue was designed for,(well, human skin actually)), but the plastic backing on the velcro might cause issues.
I'd try the glue on a similar piece of velcro first to see it will take hold.

Thanks, I'd not thought bought the backing on the Velcro. I'll try it out on the strips I'm taking off :)
