So angry, this could have been a newb error on my part but I was sold the concept of the Ventura luggage system on the premise that one size fits all, once you've bought the pack rack grab rail and bags etc you have a system for life, all you'll ever change if you swap bikes is the L brackets as they are bike specific.

Adopted the system when I bought my Thundercat and seriously it's the dogs.. So had no hesitation when I got the blade buying L brackets for it. (I'd already kept the other stuff and sold the old L brackets). How pissed off am I now, fitted the l brackets on the blade and my old pack rack and grab rail doesn't fit. It turns out there are 10, (YES TEN) different with fittings depending on the bike and the only thing that is ACTUALLY universal is the bag!!!

Now looking for new grab rail as I've bought a Ducati set complete with L brackets to get the right size rack, (will have to re sell the Duc l brackets as the seller wouldn't split them), also now have the hassle of having to sell my old rack and rail as these are no good to me now, what a faff!!

Buyer beware, all that is advertised is not as it seems!!

I'd have assumed the Grabrail and Bag Hoop would be different as different bikes have varying widths of the Tail section, some I'd have thought could be up to 4" different depending on design, so by default the small Grab rail and higher Bag loop metalwork can't be universal.

Not what ya wanna hear I know, but if you look at it logically it can only be so.

Second hand Ventura kit gets good money on eBay, sell one lot and look for another and other than hassle should not cost too much to sort.
