Hi all I was out this evening on my 04 blade and it was running great, then on the way home I opened her up and usually if i pin it in 2nd gear the front wheel lifts and then lifts with every gear change above 9k revs but tonight it accelerated a lot less ferociously and vibrated like mad???? At low revs there is no out of the ordinary vibration but go above 8k and it vibrates like mad???? Hopefully you guys & gals will have some idea Cheers
Right, I took the bike to a friend of mine who knows a bit about bikes and is a more experienced rider (ex pro racer) and he took it for a spin, he came back saying there must be something wrong with the power valve/ exhaust flapper???? he said it feels like the bike is holding back and ruled out plugs as he said there is no missfire, he also said the induction is fine as the bikes top end is fine its purely acceleration at high rev's. The bikes low rev grunt is still the same it is purely high rev power thats gone/reduced cheers for any ideas
My lads R1 had this & we suspected the exup but it was working well. In the end, synchronising the TB & new plugs fixed it.
