Bang on that! I wanted at bike to commute on (which I do every day), one that I can tour on ( TT last year, nurburgring this year) and a bike that will do track days and scratching on b roads. The blade does it all with ease. I love it!!!!!............ but damn does that new blade look good..............shame about the price, nearly twice as much as my 64 plate.
That is it in a nutshell for me. I was initially a bit concerned how the ride position and comfort would be coming from 14 years on a Blackbird. Went out for what was going to be a short ride one sunny spring morning last year and returned 400 miles later as fresh as when I had started. For me it's a keeper, don't need anything else.
Wonder if they'll do one on the outgoing GSXR-1000 too! An even better road bike imho, having had both!
