Saw this absolutely minter today at Southport - spoke to the owner, he’s had it from new - got it from The Isle of Man 17 years ago and its only got 4,000 miles on the clock. He’s also got a 67 (I think he said) Fireblade SP2. I was going to ask if he wanted to adopt me seeing as he wont sell the VTR He was a cracking fella - don’t know if he’s on the forum - wish I’d caught his name
Perhaps not the best colour, some might say, but nevertheless - it's an SP-2. Cracking bike and cracking shot.
Might be rare, but for me, not an exciting colour. However, presented with a buying opportunity, colour would not see me walk away. I truly believe that red is pick of the crop, but I think that was SP-1 only.
I’m showing my geeky side but here you go. VTRSP2 2002/3, White, came with an official Castrol sticker kit. I never bothered putting it on. 2004, Black and silver with red Honda Wing, silver frame, black wheels. 2005, as 2004 but now with black frame and grey wheels. 2006 all black VTRSP1 was always red apart from the silver limited edition. If you see a Laguna Seca 2002 replica it’s a paint job.
