Waddington Air Show 6th & 7th July

What a good excuse for a ride out to check out the view point that car drivers won't get anywhere near. The weather on Sunday should be reasonable. Could be the last chance to see the planes for 2 or 3 years depending on how long this new runway takes.

Working Saturday, Sunday is all racing on TV (WSBK and F1) and prepping the bike for Cadwell on Monday, enjoy it should be good

 

My other half was at this (230 Squadron... Puma 2 helicopter pilot) - did anyone go along to this? Was a little too far for me to bike out to from Reading!

 

Couldn't you get a lift in his helicopter ?

Yeah somebody told me the other day it may be the last one as it's not a profitable event ?
However after reading that, Jesus 35 squillion to do a runway, can't they get some pikeys in and a bit of tar macadam ?

On a more serious note I hope the funding gets sorted & it continues
