Right folks. Andy, Al and I are heading to Wales tomorrow, Sunday 17th July. Weather forecast says it's gonna be dry. Anyone interested we are meeting at shell garage A556/A49 crossroads at 8am leaving 8.15. Anyone welcome
I would come but I'm busy enjoying 35 degrees and riding pothole free roads on the n260 in the Pyrenees!
Due to other commitments I'm going to the raven this morning with my mate on his Aprilia rs250 so hopefully will pass you on route. If anybody else is going on a ride from the north west soon please let me know so I can join you (l live in runcorn) I'm sick of breathing 2-stroke all morning. Enjoy your ride
Great day on the bikes, even when you take a lovely open sweeper and spot a river running across it at speed - you kind of just put bike upright and than the lord for Shell Grip. Spotted at a cracking place for a brew on the way home Bike has now had 2,500 miles of Swiss and French flies removed (plus a few Welsh ones too) - must have rained loads in Wales overnight / the weekend / last week as floods everywhere heading to Aberystwth. Even spotted another 'current' Urban Tiger coming the other way which is amazing given there are less than 100 in existance
281 miles for Maz & I today, bit for more Alblade and his pal Ian. Had an good days ride, Crossgates (Wales) for breakfast , blast over to Aber for an ice cream ( roads where a bit wet but no dramas) Then up to Bala, from there to Lynn brenig ( on the Evo Triangle , Denbigh moors ) for tea/ coffee and finally from Denbigh to Mold/ queensferry where the two Manc lads picked up the M56. So in all a good day, with good company and only saw one cop car..........Result
