My RR6 showed up warped front disc(s) at MOT time, and im wondering if its a common fault or easy fix?

There is a slight pulsing felt in the lever toward the end of braking to a standstill, and i saw it flickering on the brake roller. But i dont ride the bike particularly hard, its never been tracked, and the discs appear to be YuTaka which i think are OEM?

The rivets are all loose, pads healthy. Im a little reluctant to spend £300 on a new pair if theyll warp again through pretty standard riding conditions! Calipers are both free and pistons clean/moving.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

What's the mileage? Ten years isn't too bad imo....

Not overly common but does happen, as said - if motoliner would be my first port of call. If they cant sort them, bin em.

It's something that can happen to any bike, but not specific to yours. You can check for sure which one and how bad it is by raising the front and spinning the wheel to see if there's any change in the gap against the pads. Then it's just a case of sending one away to be straightened. I forget which company's can do it, but a quick Google would find them

Its an 06 blade on 22k miles. Only used in the finer weather.

Thanks for the motoliner info, they arent far from me so ill look into them. I think its the right hand disc thats causing the grief.

Before bunging money on them I would measure the disc thickness against the minimum spec, I have found 25-30K and they are getting close.
