Where the coolant bottle says upper and lower, mine is well above the upper. Should i drain it or let the overflow continue to do its thing down my lower fairing?

Could this be why my temp gauge read 100C round town?

Just to add, mine gets upto 107 sometimes in town, standing at lights etc but once the fan kicks in it is soon down to around 100 then once on the move and upto speed its back to 79-80. I once overfilled the expansion tank too and the bike just spat out what it didn't want, no issues.

It will rise in the overflow bottle normally i always though anyway as its a "expansion bottle" when the bike gets warmer you will notice the level go down when she cools down, yeah mine gets to 107-108 sitting especially in Monaco last year 40 degress fan was on overtime
