I was watching a prog on discovery the other night and the mechanic replaced the engine coolant on a car with waterless coolant. It doesn't boil till 190'c , it doesn't expand as it heats up ( he proved this by removing the rad cap on an engine that was up to temp and it didn't overflow or spray in his face ) and prevents corrosion in the cooling system. You need to purge the system with a prep flush to remove all remnants of H2O before converting to this fluid and he said it was also a lifetime product ie . never needs replacing. The bad bit is it's not cheap but hey it'll last a lifetime.
