Im looking for some waterproof boots and gloves as I have been cought out a few times lately and got soaked through im wearing astars drystar at the moment but they only seem any good for a short time
Should I be looking at goretex or is there anything else? As for the boots I have only ever had sports boots so dont really know where to start any suggestions would be grateful as to what you wear and how they have been

    Cheers

Alpinestars Goretex - sports boots but waterproof and warm. And I'm using Halversson's winter gloves ATM and they've done a good job so far.

Wearing these when it rains now, bloody brilliant boots; Daytona evo sports, unfortunately they colour matched my last bike but not the blade and they are a tad on the pricey side.

Forgot to mention though that if you buy Daytona boots they'll effectively outlast you, as you can send them to the factory in Germany for new outer leather shells, inners, soles etc, you pay for it but still cheaper than new boots, a mate had new leather outer on his last year, £75.

Ride mag best buy this year is TCX Infinity Gore-Tex Motorcycle Boots WP's. £189 at getgeared.

Tcx goretex race boots. Waterproof and saved foot and ankle from breakage when an hgv rolled over my lower leg and foot. Top kit and not the priciest.

S-r1 goretex is this year's version.

Just got back from a trip and can't praise my Wolf Titainium gloves enough, wide temp range and dry.

As for boots I just use some waterproof overskins on my non goetex Daytonas' as i find non goertex boots a bit cooler for me.

A tad? A fairly meaty tad!

These are the only other boot I'd use. I'd love a pair.
