I think it's FUGLY! Probably works ok. I think Kriega tailpacks would be better IMHO

I have used ventura luggage on various bikes and think its the best luggage systems ...reasons why

    Luggage stays in one place

Easy to carry with handles on the bags

    Fits to Blade in minutes

Plenty of space in ventura bags

Nothing hangs of the side can get through tight spaces no problems

You can drive your bike as if theres nothing fitted

You can do 158mph down the Autobahn

Ventura very safe and i think the best

agree with ventura take rack off and just two bars left bike still looks standard or get a grab rail bit that fits on . my ventura took a topbox no problems when me and the misus done france last year combined with throwovers plenty of room for all the gear for two for two weeks.def the best rack to get

I got my ventura luggage and fitted it to the bike very good when in use good fit, bike very stable but i do have to agree with BladeHRC it is Fugly
so i am working on a mod with the fittings so i only need to have it on when i need it and i don't need to remove any body work to fit it, if all goes well i should be able to fit it in under 10mins.

Kriega IMO opinion is the better option because it's much more scalable than any other luggage I can think of.

You can make up capacity by just adding or removing bags and believe me they're also extremely stable at high speeds. Ive used the stuff every year since my first ever european trip 6-7 years ago and I've simply just bought a different option if I needed more (an extra us10 etc)

For example here I've got 1 x US20 and 1 xUS10 on top (you can fix them either side if you want to double up and take more) and this was the morning I left

Then by the time we headed back from the ring I'd ditched loads of riding tshirts etc and so just packed the US10 smaller bag in the larger US20

No frame work, just clips under the seat ideally.

    Kreiga for me too:

This was for the IOM TT in June, 5 days and still had room to spare.

You can fit a shed load of stuff in, and I'm using them as flight bags/camera case etc when off the bike. Top quality bit of kit.

Not being funny... but it sounds like you need something a bit more tourer orientated! ...If you did change though... it just wouldnt be a Blade!

I had a tourer for a year And sold it because i hatted it great for one week a year when i go to the isle of man trip there and back only when i'm there a tourer is not what i wont also on a track day a tourer is not what i wont i don't like commuter bikes i hate custom cruisers so i went back to a blade i only have the one bike and until my son is old enough to own his own bike he will have to go on the back of me oh and my the way this is my 5th Blade my 1st was in 1992 so i think by know i no wether i won't a sports bike or not the only other bike other than a blade i would buy is a APRILIA RSV4 if i had the money

You don't need to buy a tourer - touring on the Blade is so easy!

You can easily do 2-up with the Ventura system, whack on a GPS, and you're laughing. Done a few European trips on the Blade (and even the 600RR before that!).

Here's a pic of the Ventura with the big pack on:

I'm sure you know what you want m8... like me and everyone else on this forum, we want the Blade! It was more of a rhetorical comment I was making really.

I think the Ventura is pretty much the only decent option with a pillion.

When I've stayed in digs in the IOM or used a base in Europe I've always boxed up and posted my luggage - leap of faith I know, but I've not suffered a loss to date !
