On the road to work this morning. After having to jump start my bike this morning (and thinking that would be it) i stalled in london. And guess what. Battery is competely dead

    Then i discover that

    1. there are sweet fa anyne around that sells batteries
    2. It takes hours for someone to come out and give you a jump start

No mobile battery places even that i could find... arrrgghh!!!!

Anyone know whether it fits under the rear seat? That could be quite cool... Especially if you could have it charging...

Halfords were £99 for a new battery... Then I managed to get through to the dealer. Only £71... And they were closer. After 2 hour wait for a jump start (Damned traffic - why aren't there m/c breakdown riders) it was only about 15 minutes for Chelsea Honda to replace it for me.

Hopefully all fixed now... I must test the charging voltage in the weekend...

it sucks when you are stranded like that..

best to get rid of the cause of the problem as you have done by replacing the battery. double check the charging system is ok and there is no battery drain

Battery and clips would I think! Not sure about the whole case though

Charge up at work and just have it as back up when out, I always have a small power bank under the seat for the phone just in case

Bit of a PITA to carry though...

A pity coppers and/or taxi's don't offer a jumper service... I'd pay £10 for it (Better than the 'free' 2 hour wait for someone to travel form the east of London to Kensington just to do the 5 minutes to jump start me)

Maybe if I hadn't been admiring the tail tidy of the HRC 'blade in front of me (LB63xxx) I'd not have stalled...
