    Know if i still have a job. been in this job 22 years and this is about the 7th or 8th round of redundancies i,ve been thru. this time were losing 65 percent of the workforce so quite concerned as theres no dead wood left like before. wish i,d followed a different path all those years ago!!

    I,m a electronics tech in audio manufacturing. Our company has used china for about 3/4 of production but know sending all out there. I,m self taught so no big qualifications to hand which makes things difficult when looking elsewhere..

    luck was with me today and i,m safe but very tough watching your work buddys of 10 years plus walk out the door. not a nice experience!!

    Glad you survived matey. Been in companies a few times when the axe has been falling but was always lucky. Not nice for anyone involved.

    thanks guys. yes andy got good news today but due to the amount they axed they told us first week of january so been on my mind ever since. can now get things back on track again.
