I was on the phone with my oldest mate the other day, we go way back to when our mums meet for coffee mornings and we just goo goo at each other from our baby buggies whilst the mums watched black and white telly off moon landings. We where having a laugh about meeting up with for a weekend with our partners when as always we started talking about the good old days when summers were longer, bike insurance was more affordable and life was so much more un complicated. Got me thinking about all the bikes we had owned over the years, and thought this could be an interesting thread. I think I might even have some old photos somewhere in a box, if I can find them I will scan and post in due course Mine from the age of sixteen: Suzuki AP50. (Yes I am that old) Yamaha RD250 (passed test) Same bike but with a 400 engine put in (nicked) Honda 400/4 (in yellow, loved that bike) Honda 750/4 Suzuki 750 (water cooled flying kettle) Honda 900 FA plus Yamaha DT175 at the same time Break from bike when kids where young 2 x Honda Fireblade’s Break from bikes due to lack of funds after divorce Honda 600 (owned for two months, then chopped back in for the current toy, my much loved and cosseted 2011 Abs Blade. We have arranged the weekend meet up in Nantwich. If the last time is anything to go by it’s going to get very messy. Last time it happened we drank far more then was sensible and he did a runner from the curry house, shortly followed by me leaving our wives to sit open mouthed. By the time they found us in a pub my then wife could see the funny side of it, but sadly not his, she didn’t speak to him for over a week. LOL. Anyone know of the name of a good solicitor in Cheshire?

The PF7 was lovely Paid £2700 for it with 6000 miles on the clock pazzo's yoshi can yoshi bar ends. It needed a good clean and had ecu fault that was last year I spent ages cleaning it and had trak tech electronics fit me a new race ecu. I let my mate gave it cheap in the end but would love to have kept it but to nice to track in the end!

here's mine rd 350lc 1982 - resto project (still got) aprilia rs 125 2008 passed test in middle of winter on that bike (in bedroom now) rd 250lc 1982 mars bars colours (still got is nearly as new all gen parts now ) gsx-r 600 k9 blue did 6,500 miles (sold) really really miss that bike was utterly perfect ballistically fast and oh so composed on the road then got a 675 daytona race bike still got that is epic then traded the gixer sixer in for a 675 road bike so Id have a spare part bike for the racing if needs be was brand spank >.< a dealer blew the motor to peices at its 500 mile service then the rectifier then broke the quickshifter so ended up norton 650ss 1967 matching numbers 1 owner from new bike ( still got will never sell) traded the 675 road bike for my hutchy fireblade 11' love it to bits once its mapped and the suspensions sorted it will be Tom

Ap50 white non runner walked it home 3 miles new points/condenser and ran. Fs1e dx Burgundy first on road bike after 2yrs it became a FS100 with yb100 lump in it.75 mph fs1e Rd125 twin blue non runner fixed and resold Rd200 x 3 Black,silver and a blue one.Very comfortable bikes. Rd350lc yellow best bike I had fun on and biggest crash racing an RS turbo and high sided it.My FIM lid saved my head.Still remember the reg RLX452W sold to a guy just passed his test.Riding LC's you wind them up and this guy couldn't ride it.I went around the block fast to show him it needs gradual throttle, he said take me on the back.We got onto a straight and I told him to hold on,opened it up,wheelie and it went all light.He fell off cutting himself to bits.He still bought the bike.Warp,Warp. Rd250dx Black, project it looked the nuts sold it to a mate. Yz490 off roader had alot of fun on that.It used to hurt kicking it over though. Lambretta 200 light bluey green Bought with brother who swapped it for a rotten vw camper.Boy did he get a hiding when I got home! Long break 20 years Rg125 blue/whiter non runner fixed and sold on. GSXR 600 K8 from new did 7k miles on that 2010 ABS Black n Gold Fireblade from new, chopped in the gixxer for it. That's it for me. Only been riding for 3 years
