Will be needing a new chain this month as its in the replace section on the gauge, so whats a good mid range chain? and price? will be riding through winter too should i replace the sprocket too? its looks in good condition Cheers
Try http://www.bandcexpress.co.uk/ They are based near me and ive been there a few times, they know their stuff and give good advice. I believe the answer to your question may also rely on how long you intend to keep the bike for, but as far as the sprockets are concerned, if they have not been changed in a while then it would be a good idea to change them along with the chain. Failing that, just fit a larger rear sprocket, that'll take up the slack :-D
Buy the best, DID X ring Gold. Sprockets bought in a C&S kit are a lot cheaper, but ideally buy a hard anodised alloy rear sprocket, a lot easier on the chain. I got 35,000 miles outta my chain.
Yep another B&C express customer here, great knowledge and fast delivery. Ive always beleieved its best to renew the lot, chain and sprockets.
I use Tsubakis X-Ring Gold chains and Renthan sprockets on my bike. It's the first mod that I done to the bike.
hi not impressed with did zvm x ring gold mine has faded really quick, still ok to use but what's the point in buying gold when it fades to grey, will use tsubaki or regina next time
