Looks clean! Price you can haggle on, tyre could be he does track days or buys scrubs rather than new tyres, I've done that in the past when had a puncture but didn't want to replace a pair of tyres

that looks like a road tyre and not the type that would be sold normally as scrubs.
bike looks clean. even if it has been on track , wouldnt stop me buying it if it was "right" when i went to view.

As a guide I paid 5.3 for a very good condition 08 plate that had done 6k miles a year ago. I think I laid too much. Standard except for tail tidy in same colour as that.
If the bikes in Llanelli it's probably been round pembrey. No big deal IMO and as others have said it looks like a road tyre so probably just an occasional track dayer.

That Bike has never been on Track with that rear tyre!

Other Photos show a diff tyre with Chicken Strips on them.

That photo with the globs of melted rubber has full on undamaged 'Hero' blobs on the foot Peg, no way they would still be there without a scrape with those tyres.

sps17373 is probably right and he's just bought that tyre off someone else after a Puncture.

Good looking bike with some nice extras, book full of service stamps, I always look at the surroundings on the photo looks like a nice neighbourhood all the right signals bike will be clean and tidy well looked after, wouldn't worry about bike doing a track day or two,

    Hi Guys

Just went to view this, looks great and sounds great with the akrapovic exhaust, excellent condition for the age and just a few small blemishes and in black looks really sleek.

Only thing I need to sort out is the price he wants £5300 but with a few people on here saying it's only worth £4500 with 18k on the clock I'm not sure whether to go for it, would I be overpaying ? It's seems like a fair price with what else is on offer at the moment but im not going to argue with you guys as you would know a lot better then me.

Should I hold out and try to get the price down ?

You know what, if you've seen it and it's all good then £5300 isn't that bad imo. They'll all be that price in a couple of months when the sun is out.

Pretty much the cheapest 08 blade is £4k with 40k miles.... If this has the akra that's worth £350, the mileage and condition is worth the extra..... We'll probably £5k-£5.1k to me.

FWIW when I come to sell my 09 Repsol it won't be much more than he is asking. Very clean bike 8k miles, one previous owner..never seen rain or track ! But it doesn't have the can. When you are haggling over hundreds or even less I always ask myself what is it going to cost in the near future...chain/sprockets/tyres..oil and filter etc !

price for me is relevant to how much you personally like that particular bike, right colour right extras, local to you for collection, your personal circumstances, will a couple of hundred be a deal breaker and the gut feeling you are getting one that's in good condition been looked after, how long has it been up for sale, everyone prices to move at £5300 he must have had £5000 in mind see if he will go to £4900 offer £4650

I still reckon it needs to be cheaper.... I'd start off at low to mid fours! You can always work your way up if it's 100% what your looking for...:D
