I'm in need of something to wear over my leathers.

What do you guys wear and where did you get them?

I'm looking for something for going on the Scotland tour and don't want to wear my textiles, but also want something that will keep me dry if it decides to rain.

    Thanks in advance

A really thin rain jacket that rolls up into a little ball.

Good enough to keep your leathers dry during a downpour but doesn't add much to the luggage load.

XXL Mack in a Pack, and trousers to match.
Both fold up into their respective pockets to save space and have been used on many a trip to get me home dry.

I wear an old sutherland golf jacket. it keeps the wind out and is very light weight, if I fold it tight it will go nicely into my utility belt, (all right BUM BAG)

They are however expensive but a second hand one would do?

I think the reasoning behind your propensity for baring 'it' and grinning about it has little to do with geography and your position on the Moh's scale, young lady

Colin, have a look at my albums, you'll see a pic in there of me at John 'o' Groats wearing an Alpinestars "smock top". Maybe this is what you're looking for, keeps me dry, folds down small and doesn't get in the way when wearing it. Think it was about £45.00 and I also have leggings to match. I'm sure I got it from Demon Tweeks.

Got myself a bargain one piece Frank Thomas Aqupac off a well known Internet auction site this week, brand new for steal.
I now have no excuses about going out on the bike because it might rain.
For my normal dry rides I have a TT hoodie which has now been de zipped for over my leathers.
Apparently it helps tone down the colour ;)

For £20 (maybe 25) I picked up a police issue wind and waterproof fleece - downside is that its solid black so not the brightest item of clothing when its raining / dark - it also double up as a jacket to wear to the pub of an evening.

The other think I have which is also a handy 'evening jacket off bike to the pub' is an £8 waterproof top from Decathlon - I got one and was so impressed I got a second to replace 1st when it wears out etc. Think its XL to go over leathers, but again downside its solid black.

The Alpinestars tops mentioned are a good option - if Demon Tweaks do them consider one of them.

Thanks for all suggestions. I'll have a look and see what 1 to go for.

I'm liking the idea of the Alpinestars, and also the top Albade got from decathlon.
