I'm liking to get a Hugger for the 08 Blade. I've seen the Honda one but I don't like the way it sits up off the tyre if you know what I mean. I like a hugger to sit nice and tight on the tyre with out being able to fit your arm around between the tyre and Hugger. I have a pyramid one on the SP1 and it's a lovely fit so was thinking of getting one for the Blade aswell. Has anyone here got one fitted and what are your toughts on it.
So get some pictures of yours up and help a brother out.

King carbon on mine and plenty of room for the 55.

I have a carbon honda copy and now with a 55 rear tyre there is not much gap at all so don't get anything to tight if you think you will ever go up a profile

How have you lot found it with the 55 rear tyre fitted is there much of a difference in the handling
It's not something I ever tought of doing. I'm running pilot power 2CTs and I think the bike handles like its on train tracks. It nearly driver it self if ya know what I mean.

A 55 will make it feel even better especially when it's on it's side

well i bought the blade 3 months ago now and on the first ride the first thing i noticed was it was harder to lean the bike compared to my 600 but i put it down to it being a bigger heavier bike.

I had new front and back tyres last week and the back being a 55 and it was shocking how faster and easier it was to lean the bike over. I honestly nearly led it down on the first bend i came to.Also i couldn't get the last few mm of chicken strip of the 50 qualifier but iv got it off first day out with the 55

    defiantly an improvement

Yup cheers dan .. I am deffo going up to a 55 on the next rear (soon) as I would like a faster turn in . I don't have any chicken strips at all on the rear so I can lay it over but its an effort at times . I would like an easier time of it . It deffo seems to be a popular change with the folks on here .

"Chicken strips" are good. They indicate that you're not using all of the available lean, which you shouldn't be cos you might need it and max lean normally isn't the fastest or safest route anyway :boink:
