Standard in the 04 is a 40 tooth, changed on the 05-06 to a 42 tooth sprocket. I've upgraded my 04 to a 42 thirty sprocket as it gives it s but more punch and is a lot mire tractable at lower revs.

Hi thanks for that, i have just received the box with all the bits in it (which the courier forgot) ?? and there is a 40 tooth sprocket in it, and the bike had a 42,so he had upgraded, it was all the chat about upgrading a 42 to a 44 that threw me, so an 05 blade had a 42 as standard, but it had 169 bhp instead of 172 bhp, according to HONDA compared to an 04 Blade, just love this site, dont mind a bit of banter but no clowns on here, guys that know/love their bikes, "creep creep" think i'm gonna be sick now lol ken

No, you are correct, 04/05 were the same spec power and 40t rear sprocket, 06/7 had a bit more power, revved a bit higher and had 42t rear.
